I am pursuing teaching Vocal lessons from my home. YAY ME! So, to do this I decided to create a blog with tips and information for all my students and teachers. I am excited to being doing something I love with all my heart from within the walls of my own home. Of course, MY BEST STUDENTS are my own kids. If you are interested check it out! Still a little sparse, but will fill up soon.
Any tips from you wonderful singers out there would be awesome. THANKS! Ps. I am considering creating a recipe blog as well soon so stay in touch. Hugs...Laurie

WADE - Preference 2010

WADE was asked to PREFERENCE (Girls choice Prom) by Erika. He wore his first TUX and had a wonderful time at the themed "Masquerade Ball" at the UVU campus. Krista can't WAIT to be able to attend that event when she is old enough. Wade is now 18 yrs old, but we are waiting to celebrate until Rob comes back home from Texas at the end of this week.

NEW YEAR 2010

ALL THREE of my babies had a wonderful night at the New Year's Stake Dance. Adults had fun at BOMBAY HOUSE restaurant in Provo then enjoyed ringing in the New Year together with a few fireworks and sparkling grape juice. Darci gave us each a balloon to tie a message too - something we wanted to let go of from last year (09) and then watch it float away. Fun idea. Kids walked home from the dance and popped off the last few fireworks then OFF TO BED! HOPING 2010 brings luck, stability, weight loss and more of the spirit to us and to all of you.
SNOW DAY! Sledding during break.

OK seriously this was SO FUN. We just had to go about 5 min up the road to the mountain where a golf course lay. We LOVED watching Wade create a ramp with his cousins and getting some air time. Krista was SO brave and Leanna, as always, chose the safest route. We snacked on my homemade chocolate chip cookies and got not only some fresh air, but so quality time together.
CHRISTMAS MORNING 09

Kids were happy with all their stash this year. Wade thought his tshirt was "legit", Leanna was excited to start working with her new Art Pencils, and Krista loved all her new FASHION clothes that would keep her warm. We had a wonderful day and a great dinner (if I do say so myself!). We all went to the 12PM show of Sherlock Holmes with Craig/Darci family and just enjoyed the whole day.
