For a surprise Leanna received a new puppy (Maltese Poodle Mix) for her 17th Birthday. She was so excited. She has really been wanting one since we had to leave Lucy back in Texas. He is adorable and soo sweet.

End of Year Concert - Krista
Krista was in Concert Singers at Mountain Ridge Jr High. She has never been in choir so this was a new experience. She made great friends and performed awesome. They all sounded simply amazing!
DISNEY WORLD! and UNIVERSAL May-2010
We had a wonderful adventure to Disney World. We stayed off site this year. We loved staying in a home. It was perfect. Universal Studios was amazing as well. Unfortunately, we didn't arrive after the Harry Potter world opened up but we will definitely be back so no worries. The heat wasn't too bad, but we were definitely missing the beautiful Utah weather! That is, in the summer. Next time we will visit the happiest place on earth is after Wade's mission. :(
TEXAS TRIP!!! May 3, 2010
On our way to Disney World we stopped in Texas for a visit! It was wonderful and we enjoyed visiting and kissing all the babies we've missed since we moved to Utah. We even were there to watch Travis become an EAGLE scout! I was able to sing for the occasion and the food was fabulous! Baby Gavin was introduced to us as well. Such a cutie pie! We hated leaving, but it made it a little ok since we were on our way to the happiest place on earth! Haha

Krista's 8th grade musical was awesome! She was so cute on that stage and had the biggest smile. She made some AWESOME friends and looks forward to next years musical and productions.
SENIOR PROM 2010
Prom was at the State Capital Building in Salt Lake City. They had a great dinner at Tucanos and danced the night away!
PETER PAN - April 2010
Wade was SMEE the pirate and Hooks right hand man in the musical PETER PAN. He was AMAZING and people still haven't quit talking about his talent. We really enjoyed watching him shine in his last musical in High School.
PARK DAY WITH JOHNSON COUSINS - April 2010
Minnesota Johnsons came to visit because Erin was graduating from BYU. Krista and Leanna were so excited to see Morgan again. Tanner didn't make this trip. :( As you can see they have loads of fun together. My favorite picture is with Krista sitting on the UT state with a frown and on the TEXAS state with a smile. Obviously she hasn't made the transition very smoothly yet. lol
80's MOVIE for Young Women/Men
OK. Lot's to explain on this one. Krista and Leanna were asked to be apart of this "80's themed" movie for someone's college term project. Our YW and YM volunteered. Girls weren't exactly thrilled about this but Krista ended up being a main part. SO, I dropped them off and thought...worse that can happen will be the makeup. NOPE. Apparently hair dressers (fresh out of school mind you) were there and took Scissors to Krista's beautiful locks and created "long" bangs to represent the 80s better. I got a text and it read...Mom, Krista just let these ladies cut her hair. She has bangs! I freaked and was pretty upset the rest of the week. She has gorgeous, long hair and I could only imagine. Leanna then sends me a photo of the two of them. WOW. I really started to panic then! I was so ticked off at the leaders and hairdressers it wasn't even FUNNY. HOW could they? HOW could she let them! Anyway, long story short she is grounded for the rest of her life and we made a very quick appointment with Patrick (krista's favorite hairdresser from SHEP STUDIOS in Provo) who "fixed" her problems and she is beautiful again. Guess it's safe to say if Krista ever goes into the movies the clause about her having to do "whatever necessary" to fit the part will not be a problem. At least with hair or makeup! LOOK AT THAT EYESHADOW!!! WHEW! I lived in the 80's and didn't even wear that!
