Centipede bite in Hawaii

My boy serving his mission in Hawaii was stung/bit by a centipede! Apparently Wade didn't want me to know that he had to go in the hospital for 4 days to receive IV. However, he happened to send his memory stick home and I SAW the picture of him hooked up to the IV! I was very displeased to say the least...GLAD he is ok, but not happy I had to find out this way. He is doing great and loving his first area but expects to be transferred soon. Love my missionary.

MTC DAY! Hermana Erin Johnson

WOW! What a wonderfully, emotional day! Erin was a pillar of strength and so ready to serve. Her excitement was contagious and our love for her and her decision to serve was 10 fold! God Speed Hermana Johnson!

JOHNSON-Ville (Literally!)

While Erin was here her family drove up and we celebrated Morgans 15th birthday with a game of Quidditch and Chocolate cake. We also had Nerf wars and ended with a beautiful blessing given by Erin's dad, Scott before she entered the MTC the next morning. We LOVE spending time with family and hate to see them go.

My niece, Erin Johnson is leaving for her mission this month and we got to spend a few days with her before she entered the MTC and her family arrived from Minnesota. We had a blast with her doing the things we love and enjoying her sweet spirit. We went to This is The Place monument/pioneer park and even took time to be a kid again and got ice creams from the ice cream truck in the neighborhood while creating Chalk creations! Watching 10th Kingdom and Harry Potter are our fav's with her and we will miss her greatly!

Leanna always is willing to take photos of Krista and her friends. These girls headed to the D.I. and bought crazy shirts and jewelry and had a blast posing and taking cute pictures to begin their summer!

Trek 2011

Krista had an amazing time at her first TREK here in Utah. She made her own pioneer clothes! She even sewed a special pocket in her dress that was unseeable to stash a bit of makeup! Smart girl! Surprisingly she managed to stuff all her needed supplies in the bag provided. She wasn't too excited about all of this, but after the TREK she realized it truly built her faith, her strength, and her determination to be the best she can be.

BIRTHDAY WISHES in JUNE

Wade's best friend MICHAEL HESS (who is leaving for his mission soon...) requested I make him a fun cake for his 19th birthday. Well, he loves Ninja Turtles and MICHAELANGELO so I found a pan on eBay and his request was granted! It turned out great and it was a pleasure making such a wonderful kid happy!

SENIOR LAGOON DAY!!!

Leanna isn't up for most parties associated with High School but I bought her the "Senior Package" and she attended most of the events. Lagoon day was a day out of school so she had to participate!!! She and Cassidy Freeman had a wonderful time with friends spinning and getting a little sunburned at Utah's Lagoon park.

What a beautiful daughter! I am so very proud of her accomplishments in school. Notice the cords...yes, graduated with honors!!! She is a wonderful example of love, hope and perseverance! Now what? She's decided to head to UVU to pursue a BFA in Art Communications with an Emphasis in Photography!!!

Krista's END OF YEAR 9th Grade Dance

Krista has had a wonderful year with friends and being the OLDEST in Jr. High. She moves on to HIGH SCHOOL next year!! This is a picture she took with a group of her best friends.

Mother's Day 2011

I got a call from my boy on mother's day! It was wonderful. He sang me "mother I love you" on the ukelele! Yes, I cried like crazy, but I am so glad to hear he is doing wonderful in Hawaii. He sent me a special Lei that he MADE!!! I have it hanging on his map/mission picture and enjoyed wearing it today and smelling the gorgeous flowers. We also had homemade cinnamon rolls and Orange Julius and later...CAKE! Love mother's day!
