ADDIE ONLY LOVES LA LA
My sister Ashna and brother in law, Chad sent me this SUPER CUTE video of my niece, Adelyn "ADDIE". I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH! She is so cute and even remembers me. I can't wait to see her and all the other cute poots in Texas in May.
TEMPLE SQUARE

To make the day even better we left This is the Place Park and headed down to SLC and Temple Square. The day was slightly warmer and the flowers were in bloom. SO gorgeous and not having the "boys" with us we could ooo and ahhhh as much as we wanted! lol I love my girls and will never forget the moments we shared this day.
THIS IS THE PLACE - Heritage Park

After the cold zoo we decided to head over to the "THIS IS THE PLACE" monument. This was a VERY cool place. We hiked around, rode the train, visited and felt the spirit of our ancestors and pioneers for over 2 hours! We can't wait to visit this summer when the pioneers are back re-creating the time period. Krista is already planning her pioneer outfit for the occasion! This was the highlight of our day!

EASTER SUNDAY - Conference

We spent the morning eating our weight in Easter Chocolate and I made my favorite Easter Pie - COCONUT CREAM. We spent the afternoon eating a wonderful meal at Darci and Craig's and watched the last session of conference. Well, Wade slept through most of it. He's in another show and is BEAT! Leanna, however, was WIDE AWOKE! SO full and satisfied, we left for home and enjoyed the rest of the day. Girls made a chain to count down the days we had until our TX and Orlando Vacation. HAPPY EASTER!

I was asked to bake a cake and get PAID for it by a co-worker. She wanted a carrot cake. This was heavy and FAB! SO good. I also made cupcakes and mini-cupcakes to have at home. NO WAY could I make this, smell it baking and then not taste so cupcakes were juuuusssssstttt fine with me. See how pretty???!!!!

BABY Gavin Severson Doughty ARRIVES!!!!
One of the drawbacks to living in Utah is when your dear sister has a new baby and you can't witness the event in person. DROVE ME CRAZY all day she was in labor. I hate it so much. Fortunately I was able to send my super husband over for some one on one with the little guy. He went over the top! He arrived at Tamra's with a large bag of goodies as you can see from the picture. Marshall's face cracks me up! He is smiling, but all the while not taking his eyes off the goods! I wish I could have been there, but so happy he is healthy and I have a husband who was able to serve my sister's family if only for a little bit. Gavin is MUCH loved by me already and I can't wait to hold him in May when we visit. Counting down the days...
LONE PEAK PROM - 2010

Wade went to his first and last prom. It happened to be the same day as the YW General Broadcast. It was at the State Capital Building (Utah). They went to Toscano's Restaurant and had a fun evening. I am still waiting for the professional pictures, however I downloaded these from one of the girls FaceBook page to give you an idea of the event. My boy is SO HANDSOME! He is quite the young man.
YOUNG WOMEN GENERAL CONFERENCE 2010

We had the most wonderful experience together as mother and daughters. We witnessed the Prophet of God, Thomas S. Monson, walk into a packed conference center and feel the spirit usher in. You could have heard a pin drop! I grabbed my girls hands and we hugged and tears developed as we were filled with the spirit. The speakers were AMAZING and all three of us will never forget the moments we shared together this day. How lucky I feel to be their mother, but even better... their friend.
Church History Museum with Daddy

Rob came in to town for a few days and a few interviews. We miss him SO much. This weekend it was beautiful outside so we headed downtown to see the Church History Museum after picking him up from the airport. Wade was at practice (Peter Pan) so it was just a day for the girls with daddy. The museum has the most beautiful artwork and we took full advantage of the artifacts and stories displayed. All in all it was a wonderful day with Rob.
MY BEAUTIFUL GIRLS

After Leanna took all the pictures she needed for her class I got a hold of the camera and captured this beautiful shot of my girls. They are the best. They always enjoy spending time together and Leanna is literally the best older sister anyone could wish for. I love this picture so much because it captures their love for each other and their bond.
