Leanna is turning 15 this Saturday. She wants cupcakes instead of the traditional cake. We are going bowling and then to the stake dance. She couldn't decide on the flavor of icing so we did a
cute mini version of what we were thinking yesterday after church. (Any reason for cupcakes of course!) I've decided these are too dang cute to not share. We made chocolate MINI cupcakes with either cream cheese "pink" icing (our favorite) or chocolate icing tinted red. Both are good, but of course pink won the vote with Leanna. I've decided these are so adorable and they just "pop" into your mouth for a quick sugar fix. I LOVE THEM! We are so excited to have her party and be out of school. Then next week we have our first swim meet and then Tuesday Leanna and I are off to CAMP...AHHHH! Her last year THANK HEAVEN!!!
By the way the perfect cream cheese icing recipe is: 1-8oz softened cream cheese, 1/2 c. softened butter, 1pd box of powdered sugar, and 1T vanilla. Cream the cheese, butter, and sugar. Stir in vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Makes about 31/2 cups. YUM OH! Enjoy! (PS. For those of you who like the tip I used for the pink icing it is #885)

Stop it! I'm hungry!
I agree with ashna and chad!
YUM O! I did those same cupcakes for my teacher development on Sunday. I made 150 little mini's in white, chocolate and carrot. They are so cute and little you really can eat like 10 and think it's ok. Gotta love Williams Sonoama :)
I'm Dying! I'm not used to looking at something good enough to eat, and not eating it!
well... I can dream can't I?
