This is Krista's favorite recipe. She literally will eat this for days. When she comes in from school, the cold weather and catches a sent of this stew in the air she just gets giddy! When she eats a big hearty bowl I think she sounds like Bob at the dinner table in the movie "What about Bob". I was thinking of all my Texas family today who are freezing with the cold air and snow that recently fell and thought I'd share my secret to staying warm. Enjoy!

Ok, so you know I'm not a "meat person" so I have no idea what stew meat is. I just might make this, so what do I buy for that mysterious thing called "stew meat". Give me the best kind possible.
OH REBECCA!!! You crack me up. It's basically in the meat department and is big chunks of meat (roast). You can ask the little meat man if you have trouble. Every time I find it it says "STEW MEAT". Hopefully it won't be too hard. HEB is the best. GOOD LUCK!
