Krista was cast as a lead in her sophomore year for the spring musical of Once Upon A Mattress. She was fabulous! Did a fantastic job...as well as all the other very talented kids. It was a wonderful production. I was the musical director for this show. I love working with such talented kids. Only problem with this show is it happened to be the last week of term so all the kids were cramming in a LOT of study time and rehearsal time. Some even had nights where they didn't sleep! Krista pulled an all night study session due to slacking grades and fell asleep before the show and during her biggest break in Act 2 back stage. She was pitiful! This show has worn her out but she never missed her cues and did a fantastic job.
