Just in time for mother's day Krista had an accident that reminds me that mom's have a very high calling in life and can somehow manage it all! Krista was talking on the phone and trying to
exercise on my "Leg Magic" and just happened to fall off the machine and tackle some empty food storage cans that I had
strategically placed behind the machine for future use. She sliced a deep gash on her toe. Only one other person I know of could be this
clumsy at 12...ASHNA...got to love the determination to "do it all". Of course this is just in time for afternoon swimming practice, dance recital and her play at school next week. I did get the bleeding to stop and a few cupcakes later - the crying ...more like
whaling :( . How she will ever be a mother I'll never know! This is the same child that looks forward to a cast someday??? I assume that I was the same way, so I see a small
glimmer of hope for her future. She slept with her leg on top of two gigantic pillows wrapped in bandaids, gauze wrapped all around her foot, and and ice pack to stop the swelling. Princess in the Pea ring a bell for anyone???? I'm just glad the crying stopped and we managed to calm her down. (THANK YOU ADVIL!) Until the next accident - keep
Kissy in your prayers for a speedy recovery so she can SHINE at both performances next week.
