WADE IS AN EAGLE SCOUT!!!!!!

Wade officially became an Eagle Scout yesterday afternoon after an hour and 10 minute interview about his time in cub and boy scouts. He even was asked to tie a square knot! He is VERY happy to have accomplished this goal and is the 4th boy this year to complete this honor in our district. He earned 25 merit badges and is already on his way to earning his first palm. His project was taking pictures of and cleaning up after erosion damage from hurricane Rita around the Williamson Cemetery (our families cemetery in Vidor, Texas) and uploading/naming all photos (over 900) to a non-profit web site that helps families around the world find there ancestors. I'll send the link to see that later with announcements in June. His court of honor will be held around the 10th of July when Aunt Tamra is coming to visit (and anyone else who wants to come...hint, hint!!). We are really excited for Wade and know he will become a better man because of what he has learned from this 9 year experience! Pictured above are the men at his board of review.
